Licensing Investigator #2012-62 (Gaming) Conducts ongoing and continuous background investigations on all applicants for manufacturer and distributor’s licenses, findings of suitability, key employee licenses, temporary work permits and other gaming related investigations as assigned. This includes investigating prior and current employment and possible criminal histories of applicants. Responsible for maintaining all records of gaming applicants, as well as other documents filed with the Sac and Fox Gaming Commission. Controller #2012-61 (Stroud) Directorship level professional and administrative work, which includes the planning, directing and coordination of financial activities of the SFN. Facility Administrator #2012-59 (Stroud-JDC) This position is charged with implementing policies and programs of the SFN for the benefit of juvenile youths. The Facility Administrator is responsible to the Tribal Administrator through the Deputy Director and Director of Public Safety and directs the staff units that are responsible for the Nation’s juvenile services including personnel, building and grounds, medical services, and resident life activities. This position works closely with other Program Directors, the Controller, and other management staff in carrying out the administrative and programmatic support operations of the Nation’s juvenile program. Directs and supervises the work of the juvenile detention staff. Investigates and reports on complaints from clients or their families of incidents occurring on or off campus; consults with employees regarding rights and responsibilities in mistreatment investigations; maintains statistics and records regarding such investigations, attends grievance and abuse review committee meetings. Provides administrative direction and support for facility compliance with Juvenile detention facility standards, i.e., State of Oklahoma of Juvenile Affairs, Bureau of Indian Affairs, American Correctional Association, etc. Produces statistical reports, analysis, and exhibits for internal use by other management staff for external reporting to federal, state, and local funding and regulatory agencies. Maintains the Nation’s juvenile services administrative policy and procedures manual. Manages the building and grounds of Nation’s facility and ensures compliance with zoning, building, health, and safety licensing or certification requirements. Ensures the Director and Deputy Director are kept fully informed on the conditions and operations of the juvenile facility and on all-important factors influencing the program. Plans, formulates, and drafts basic policies and programs that will further the objectives of the SFN juvenile program. Conduct staff meetings, and encourages professional personnel to furnish suggestions and recommendations contributing to the full development of the facility program; review reports of staff members and prepares special reports of facility activities. Plans, organizes, and directs programs and services; evaluates results and recommends policies, procedures, and action to achieve program goals. Gives guidance on matters of the juvenile program, publications, budget, and legal responsibility. Management of fiscal resources and development of grants and contracts. Makes frequent inspections of all units to evaluate efficiency and operations; Conducts regular staff meetings to review security operations, explain policies and procedures or discuss security matters. Ensures that all funds, physical assets, and other property of the Nation are appropriately safeguarded and administered. Patrols buildings and tribal grounds, examining doors and windows to determine that they are secure, checking electrical office equipment, appliances and lights in offices, which were not turned off. Prevents and discourages criminal activity, warning violators of rules infractions and if necessary contact the Tribal Police Department, documenting by means of a report and logging the incident. Watches for and reports irregular activities, notifies supervisor and/or police or fire department by police radio or telephone for assistance or in case of emergency. Answers inquiries and gives directions to employees and the general public, allows authorized persons in or out of buildings and property, through proper procedures and coordination of all committees, employees and/or groups that have meetings within the grounds or facilities, this in writing. Prepares Capitol Security reports daily. Transports daily mail to local post office and deposits to the local bank as security officers. Adheres to the Policy Manuals. Incumbent is responsible for cleaning at the Boyd Center (Black Hawk Health Center) on a daily basis and such duties included: Dust desks, rails, ledges and other areas; dust or remove and washes the mini blinds as needed; dusts, mops, scrubs, waxes and buffs clinic floors; washes interior and exterior windows on scheduled semi-annual basis and intermittently as needed; dusts ceiling fixtures on a semi-annual basis and intermittently as needed. Incumbent also performs aseptic cleaning in various medical rooms as directed. Maintains stock of cleaning materials. On occasion may be requested to shovel snow or spread ice melt on walks and driveways. Performs cleaning and janitorial duties for the overall Boyd Center. Keeps janitor’s room neat and orderly and reports supply orders to the Supervisor. Assists in control of sanitation and bio-hazardous waste storage. Assists in checking health center for safety hazards and reports any deficiency. Tile floors are to be routinely scheduled for waxing and buffing every six (6) months. Grouting in rest rooms will need to be meticulously cleaned and maintained. Performs other related duties as assigned. Ability to do the work of the position without more than normal supervision. Physically able to ift, bend, stoop, climb, carry and reach and pull or push equipment weighting up to 50 pounds. Knowledge of materials used in cleaning and disinfecting. The individual must also provide comprehensive substance abuse treatment services appropriate for individuals, families and groups, and will assist them in their attempts to reach individual treatment goals. Must have the ability to effect behavioral change through a wide rang of treatment modalities, the ability to emphatically provide teaching, training, and counseling with patience and understanding of the problems associated with substance abuse. Must possess an understanding of special populations, including sensitivity to the Native American culture. Must be able to maintain a good working relationship with clients, professional relationships with staff, and other visitors to the facility. Must have knowledge of the Health Information Portability and Accountability Act, Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care Certification, Privacy Act, and Confidentiality guidelines regarding mental health and substance abuse. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in counseling, psychology, or related field, plus at least two years experience in case management and substance abuse counseling experience.
